- It seems odd to me that I only had to use one disc

- People have two discs? My premium edition only came with one disc.0
- I have two disc. the Limited Edition. At about 92% there was a pop up telling me to insert the second disc.3
- For the Sims 4 there are two discs but only needed to use one to install the game, is the other one important? Why do I have two?
Tio pretend it isn't lacking badly in content...4 - I never got a pop up, mine downloaded completely with just the first disc. That is why I was confused.
- mine needed 2. it stopped at 92% then told me to put in disc 2. disc 2 also installed the sims 4 soundtrack.
- My game installed with only disc 1, so I am confused on what disc 2 is for also.. thinking of uninstalling the game and then re-installing to see if anything comes up about disc 2 the second time around.

- I had to use both discs (limited edition) to install. As others have said, I had to swap over at about 92%. The first 20% or so was pretty slow but overall installed pretty quickly.
- i couldn't get either disc to install but once i put my code thingy in i just downloaded from origin
- edited September 2014Yeah like the last few % of the download it prompts for disc 2, its very subtle prompt, but it is there if i were you I would try an reinstall it so it prompts you for disc 2. To avoid any issues or something, it exists for a reason I am sure XD....
Unless it is secretly a coaster for some people ...
I doubt the possibility but is it possible it is there to install the limited edition content? That would be silly but still XD0 - 'Promise me we do this together, okay?'
- I had two discs. Seems to be the extra soundtrack stuff on the other disc(I have collector's edition).1
- From what I have seen is people who do not get the pop up to add the second disk seems to get game crashes and other problems. So I would say you need to get that and the second disk is needed. There does not seem to be much on the second disk - but what ever is on it - gets ride of game problems that people seem to get who don't get it to install. In my case I did get the pop up that asked for the second disk and have had no issues at all in game for the three days I have been playing it at least 12 plus hours each day.

In dreams - I LIVE!
In REALITY, I simply exist..... - I have had no glitches and no crashes yet and I play on a not very gamer friendly laptop. So far it seems to be working fine. I am still confused why I never needed the second disc but oh well. If my game starts crashing I will uninstall and reinstall.
- yes I had two disc also and had to put the 2nd one in almost at the end. Hey I don't know why you didn't
- You should be grateful. The Sims 2 has 4 (four) discs. When I got it I was like 'C'mon let me plaaay!'. At least there was some kind of puzzle game with it to keep you busy.2
- I didn't have to insert the 2nd disk either XD downloaded just fine a long with the soundtrack music so I'm not sure why we have a second one...and I been playing for hours non stop! no crashing or anything2

I wasn't prompted for the second disk but I put it in and tried to run it and it won't run. I have been playing since release day and have not had any issues......no crashing or lag or anything.0 - I have two disc. the Limited Edition. This for me too ^^^||Origin Name: VicksLouise||UK Simmer||Simmer since 2000||My Fanart||My Gallery|| - I also have a second disc and I didn't have to install it. The first disc was impossible to run without origin. I'm very confused. I have no lag except for demon babies2
- Do you need the disc in to play?
no cause it uploads onto your origin acct and from there you can download, but I didn't need the 2nd disc at all...and when I did click on it it just show's files and the s4 icon that's about it...I click to try to run it and nothing...so idk...but I been playing fine and smoothly since the 2nd so not sure on that disc lol...maybe someone should ask a guru on it0
